Wednesday's words...

This really spoke to me yesterday...

What if this was our prayer everyday?

Daddy...

Happy Father's Day to my sweet husband.

Though you aren't the father of a little one with 10 fingers and toes, you are the father to our trainer-children.

The four crazy beasts that drive me crazy and yet love us so unconditionally.

You are the center of their lives and the best daddy to them.

All eyes on daddy.

No better way to spend a day in her eyes.

Dad's day...

Father's Day is coming up and we are all preparing around here.  Kenzie and Katie got their baths and Cedric and Rose go to the groomers on Friday so that they'll look spiffy for Josh's day.

What?  Well, yeah we celebrate Father's Day for Josh.

Ummmm...yes, I know they are just dogs.

There are all sorts of dads in this world.  Josh just happens to be a dad to dogs, turkeys, and cows.  He's pretty awesome at it too.  The girls have saved their money and have bought him a pretty great Father's Day gift.  They always spoil him.  It's a bit ridiculous, I agree.

For those celebrating dads of daughters or sons, I found some really fun free printables from Poppytalk that you should certainly check out.  The best thing about it is that they are downloadable and you can do them at home.  So fun!

Good reminders...

It's been a good/bad week.  I had my 3 month check up since my IVIG treatments finished and the doc was thrilled to see how well I've been doing.  I was thrilled to report the good news!

All good news, right?

Right...

But, with the good news came the lurking anxiety in me.  What if I get sick again?  What if the plans we keep making and discussing come true and then...sick!  It's silly, right?  Right, I know.  I KNOW THIS...and yet the anxiety builds.  I'm sorting this all out in my head.

So, tonight with lots on my mind I turned to my board on Pinterest that I save funny, inspirational, true quotes to that make me laugh or just remind me that it's all gonna be ok.

I'll share a few of my favorites with you...

And one of my favorites...

You know you wished this too.  Right?

Happy weekend, loves!

Forgive me, I'm 33.

Forgive me for being absent.  I've been...well...getting older.

I know it's been awhile so I'm not even sure where to start.  I can sum it all up a little better with pictures.

Let's start with this...

I recently came home to find this floating in my pool.

Yep, it is a shopping cart.

Josh "modified" it by cutting off the bottom wheels to make it a floating fish basket...he added some lovely noodles and some Styrofoam buoys.

My gorgeous, new pool is now the testing facility for fishing gear.  Why hadn't I expected this?

All I can think about when I see this is Jeff Foxworthy's famous skit..."You might be a redneck if..."

I guess you can say we are both into junk though.  Check out the recent garage sale/charity fundraiser table I scored for $20.00.  The chairs were an additional $5.00.  I think it was a great buy.  Josh says, "they saw you coming."

Don't worry...I plan on adding an actual seat.  It's on the to-do list.

I think the new table and chairs fits in perfectly with our rustic attire on the porch.

I also scored the coolest carts at the same garage sale/charity fundraiser.
They are from the old Levi Strauss jean factory.

They came complete with the old jean threads still caught in the wheels.
I adore them and have plans to make them into side tables or serving carts for the porch.
They've also been added to the rapidly growing to-do list.

During May I also celebrated my 33rd birthday.

33!?!?!

My birthday involved a few of these...

I seriously have no idea how I became this age.  Really.
It's a great age, don't get me wrong, I just don't know where the last 5 or 10 years went.

I got a very special birthday gift this year.  More Belties.
I got 4 momma cows and 2 new babies!!

We've doubled the herd and it's really exciting!

Alright, I'm glad to catch up with you.  I hope to do better in June.

Thanks for sticking with me.

XOXO
